so I'm not interested but it would seem HWMBO and the rest of the family want to watch the football.
the TV only has a wi-fi link. suits me but it would appear we can't watch ITV in its original form. yes we've got ITV hub but that appears to be catch up. can we get ITV 'live' so to speak? many thanks,  |

My LG tv has a direct link to ITV Hub, but I have to get to ITV Live via a web search. My recently viewed list then provides a shortcut to the live stream. It started with a kiss, never thought it would come to this.

this sounds like the way forward. I need to try and do a web search - last time I tried this it appeared the only thing I could do on the web was visit www.sony........and yes its a sony tv

I can get all basic channels (12345 and more) on my TV via the apps on a Firestick so can’t see why you would not be able to with a smart TV apps, but I’ve never tried as it’s plugged into the aerial anyway.

Looked on my smart TV. Can’t see any way on itv app to play live itv.

ITV and Ch4 both have a bit of a weird approach to streaming live tv on some apps but not others. I keep meaning to enquire with them as to why, it must be to do with rights or something. Another example is that you can watch live on a phone or tablet, but not via Google Chromecast. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

icon on first photo looks different. the next pages look very similar but I just don't have the 'live' tab. must go investigate further.

so searched the web on the tv and found the option top left for watching live......
only it then says in the middle of the screen either refresh (which does nothing) or go to the help page (nothing useful there that I can make out)
pain in the ass. |
