If you own a Puma stationwagon bought as an N1 vehicle from 2011 onwards, the vehicle comes under the DOE testing regime and not the NCT. This even applies to a vehicle that is taxed as a private vehicle. I was under the impression that I'd be getting mine tested under the NCT in 2015, but I've since had it confirmed by Land Rover Ireland that it needs to undergo the yearly DOE test. I've duly booked her in for one.
This also applies to five seat Discovery's bought under the N1 classification. Thanks to member "Rossy" for flagging this. If anyone has a spot on the Discovery site it might be worth mentioning this as there are some Irish members on it. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel 1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu 2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai |
