Unknown connectors.

Just when I thought I had familiarised myself with the car, out of nowhere pops these two connectors, okay, from behind the nearside headlamp.
What are they, what do they do? Everything I have, works, so am I missing something? It wasn't me!

That were quick.
I have neither of those, however I have acquired a BBUS from a P38, so hopefully that'll be plug and play. Headlight levellers, nah! It wasn't me!

think there should be two , one mounted to front headlight panel so it's in between indicator and side light and one up in top left hand corner as your looking at pic so really up beside rad but inside wing ( if that makes sense )

I'll stick a meter on it and see if it powers up when I hit the horn switch. It wasn't me!

AFAIK, Td5s are wired for two horns (Hi/Lo tones) but typically only have one (near side) fitted. I found my off side horn multiplug (purple/black trace + earth) tucked up in the offside inner wing (2005 110 SW)

As mentioned, the other two plugs are for the battery backed up alarm sounder (brown plug 4 black wires) and a non battery backed up siren (orange/black trace+earth).

From what I can work out, Td5s alarm sounder is the horn but in theory you can add both a BBUS & a non battery backed up siren in addition to perhaps a second horn.... that'll keep them guessing, particularly if some are fitted in non standard locations.

P38 part should work fine but worth checking how well the unit's battery holds its charge after all these years. Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.
