Security for Spare wheel / tyre
Hi guys

Son I buying a spare to go with the other wheels / tyres on the landy 265 x 16 insa turbo special tracks on modular wheel and as it will be living on the back door I mite make a bracket that hinges round the front of the wheel / tyre that will have a big rounded off bolt going through it and rear door with a nut on the inside of door.

what do you think Smile Graham

If you're that worried get a good quality motorbike cable/chain lock and thread it through the holes of the modulars and attach it to the wheel carrier or an eye bolt that you'll fix to the back door.

Well no not really I still don't like the spare on the back door but because its a county spec the spare won't fit on the rear bulkhead which is where I would like it as the side facing seats are in the way as they fit pretty close to the bulkhead where as bench seats and front facing rear seats fit further away and a swing away is no good as i tow a trailer Smile Graham

Sorry but I would rather keep it on the rear door than fit it on the bonnet as it bawkes your view and makes the bonnet very heavy.

think I have two choices either keep it on the back door or get rid of the side facing seats and fit it on the rear bulkhead which I would prefer Smile Graham
