Well after many weeks of waiting for selectors that are still on back order, she went in yesterday for a full replacement gearbox (problems with selecting 1st, 2nd & 3rd smoothly)
I also mentioned that there was a whining noise and that i wasnt sure if it was the Trasnmission or something else. (and before anyone else says it....it wasnt the Mrs, her whining is more high pitched) Update call this morning sounded promising, gearbox was almost complete and door seals to resolve the wet footwell were being fitted. "great news" Update call this afternoon not so positive..... After fitting the gearbox and road testing, the whining noise was still present and upon further investigation i now need a new transfer box. Good news is my clutch is ok apparently So im stuck with my citroen C1 courtesy car for a few more days while a new trasnfer box is ordered and fitted. maybe tomorrow they'll go the full way and replace the engine....with a TDV8 (i can dream) Puma 2.2 90 Stationwagon |

Make sure you take the Citroen greenlaning
Have it towed through a bomb hole at a P&P site and fill it full of straw. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |
