I wish to fit two extra LR type switches, for Fog/driving lights, into the centre switch panel on my TD5 (2002) 90 and need to know if it is a simple case of removing the two bottom screws holding the panel, or if I will need to remove the dash top rail completely first, to gain access to the panel top fixings.? Help would be much appreciated.

No, just the two screws at the bottom and (maybe?) one on each side near the top. It's definitely not necessary to remove the top rail. Darren

If its fitted properly... top piece will need to be removed.
There are two screws that hold the bottom of the panel - and three at the top. Wot Ian said
Dash top has to come off to allow access to the three top screws (provided they had been done up correctly !) Really? I stand corrected then, sorry. I could have sworn I took mine out without removing the top of the dash Darren

I think you can do it without removing the dash top if the top screws are not fully done up.
If I remember correctly the top screws fit into open slots on the centre panel so if thay are not tight you can slide the centre panel down to disengage them.
