Extremely pleased with the Nolden LED headlamp
Hello,

Got my Headlights from Nakatanenga, very pleased with the lighting output and overall look. To me the Nolden's look the best in aftermarket for the light output and look. It looks like a factory product, something Land Rover would do to update a Defender in looks without ruining the overall look. The one I got is the normal chrome, I think its best fitting to keep it as stock looking as possible rather than getting the blacked out which Nolden offers similar to other aftermarket lamps.

Not convinced about those yet. Tomorrow the A-Bar will be fitted, I went offroading last week and my package (genuine LR Warn sports) have been destroyed unfortunately.

Going to order Hella Luminator LED

Hella's are nice and expensive, so are many parts I like such as Recaro's (I have on the way)..a motto I follow closely is do it once and right.

I've been to oman 3 weeks ago, was invited by the Bentley Dealership to drive the new Continental GT V8S

Was invited by the local Bentley Dealer to Oman in the fantastic Al-Husn Resort in Bar Al Jissah(40 minute drive from Muscat(capital city) to test-drive the Bentley GT V8 S & Speed variants the GTC "cabriolet" and the coupe. The event was done via Bentley Motors middle east and they had the Kuwait clients and select clients from Egypt.

I arrived on friday and checked in after a 2hour flight, fortunately some of my close friends were invited and it was great to actually know the people in the event. Prior to dinner we played Snooker which was at a Cigar lounge in the second floor which was convenient as it was close to our rooms and also close to the elevator to get to the restaurant for dinner. I was happy to have a room with the sea view and overlooking the pool, during dinner getting to know the rest of the crew that were invited the majority of them had rooms that look at a mountain which isn't that good.

Cigar Lounge/Snooker

Morning Balcony View

Gone Swimming

Had a very quick snack for breakfast and coffee and went for a swim, the pool is amazing and it would be nice to actually dip in the water as its 42 degrees C and would be beneficial to keep cool prior to a topdown drive in the mountains.

Beautiful Scenery

I need to go there more often, it would be nice to spend a couple of days and go fishing, yachting, catamaran & snorkelling .

Driving around the twisty mountain roads

Not the ideal car for that place, I was rather impressed by the new V8 S its the best car in the lineup the GTC "cabriolet was nice but it didn't feel good when pushed, more of a boulevard cruising car but the noise was nice the V8 rumble is amazing having the sound bounce of the mountains. I drove the W12 "Speed" it had heats up quickly and compared to the V8 S which stayed did centre at 90 degrees C.

Going Back Home

Nice coastal roads on the way back which was 1hour and 15 minutes, really enjoyed every single minute of the trip and getting to know some nice people during the short 27 hour trip.

For the Defender? If so Wipac or RDX.
I have the RDX as they're relay is good, you would probably have issues getting them delivered from the supplier though.
Wipac ones are okay but the relay not so.
Other alternative is a UK user here buy them and get them sent out to you.
A full kit for RDX is about £120 ish off the top of my head.

Only excludes NAS fog and reverse and two male Econoseal connectors.

The Nolden headlights are a great bit of kit.

If you are happy with the Noldens for the headlights why not consider their 70 or 90 mm spot or driving lights. Have not used them myself yet but they do feel and look a solid piece of kit.

For indicators Nakatanenga do some HERE

Instead of the Luminator's I mentioned earlier, I got these

From Amazon, they cost half as much and I can rationalise its price because I have more priorities personally to take care of then spend 800 pounds on hellas.

Smile Very Happy Cool

Comes with a remote switch to power them on. 2016 Defender 90 Adventure Edition
