Meet the new girl, 110 XS
Here she is, I'll use this as a build thread type blog.
A basic 110 XS, with factory accessories.

The collection yesterday, didn't go well. Northwest Defenders pretty much let me down, as it wasn't serviced and waxoyled as promised, though they did offer for me to come back and they would do it, while I wait...which isn't much good for a 3 hour round trip (time, being my most valuable possession).
When I got home, the fuel filter was pouring diesel out over the drive, upon inspection the filter looked like a chunk of weetabix, so rusty. So I swapped it (10 minute job) and stuck an air filter in for good measure, though I set Mrs Greeni the task of doing this, as she wants to learn about them Thumbs Up
It drives fantastic, though will benefit from new dampers and the interior looks unused Cool
So in the first few hours, we:
Removed rear light guards, roof bars, rear seats, rear badges and Defender decal, work light and bracket.
If anybody sees I've removed something they need, just pm me and I'll consider a sale.
This is going to get money thrown at it and will want for nothing, though everything added will need to serve a purpose, no vanity parts (kbx grilles and stuff).
Today's task is to remove all the side steps and renovate and fit my trials bike rack.

So Greeni, what's the plan? Long haul expedition, green lane special, comp truck rival, I assume it's not going to be a city slick shopping cart or a posers pony.

Cheers for comments.
Newhue, it's got to be able to do some scenic greenlanes, nothing gnarly, so BFG A/Ts are a must for me.
It's also got to tow jet skis and ribs and do 300 mile round trips to the beach at weekends, so standard ride height and comfort also paramount..
Then there's the camping trips, definitely doing west coast Scotland and Highlands again, Europe and up to the Northern Lights run. Or similar.
As with you all, it'll be built to meet my own needs.

Today, I removed all the side and rear steps, always fun, with rusty pins and awkward places. Then I stripped the dash out and removed the original Nokia/Land Rover phone kit and associated wiring. Shocked very retro. (Still has the oe 'wireless/radiogram', which is going to be binned).
Threw in the Skytag and put the mounting plate in for my HF radio.

Essentials first, I noticed the rear dampers were totally fudged, so I've ordered a set of Old Man Emu dampers, being happy with my set I had on the 90.
The suspension will be renewed front to back, so poly bushes and OME dampers, with a fresh set of springs to boot.

One dilemma I'm having, is choice of wheels...though I do like boosts.
