Thanks Mike ,

So did you just adjust the overall value of the car and list them as accessories to ensure you were not out of pocket in the event that you needed to make a claim ?

I am just thinking some of these accessories / options can be pretty pricey and as such would probably be a miss in the event that you had to actually replace or even worse the insurer turned around and said we are not paying out at all as you didn't notify us of a particular item

I have recently been at wars with Adrian Flux and am writing to FOS about them. They have charged me nearly £300 for one month's car insurance cover! I got my renewal notice through and paid it as it seemed competitive. Then was advised that I had exceeded my mileage limit by just 400 miles in the previous year so they wanted an extra £300. Then they wanted an extra £250 for my change of address. I told them I wanted to cancel and they couldn't of cared less and were very .
