As I am going to have a lot of time on my hands over the next six months I thought that I would try and store my Vinyl collection on the PC then later transfer them to one of these new fangled IPod things or similar.
Have looked on line at what is on offer I am a bit disappointed by the quality.
Has anyone done this with any satisfaction and what product and process would you recommend. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to us off.

I use this bought from Amazon. Ther are cheaper options but after reading many reviews this one came out top.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Quick-Play-Compact...nyl+to+mp3
With the supplied software it is a easy to convert, the only drawback is the speed for of course you have too play every record at normal speed to convert.
The quality of th econversions is perfect but make sure you set the option to save the MP3 files at 320 quality slightly bigger files but which is CD quality.
