Message to Peter:
No thanks to you Peter! I've edited this because perhaps I was a little angry at the disdain with which I was treated and showed it more than I should have Last edited by vaucluse on 7th May 2014 11:53am. Edited 1 time in total |

Personally I find that comment highly offensive! 4x4 Overlander supplied this cruise control and I informed Mark that I had no knowledge or experience of this cruise control therefore could not give any advice or information about it. I do know that Nakatanenga supplies good quality equipment and that their service level/customer support is excellent. All this arose from a NON specialist undertaking a safety critical modification to their vehicle which is probably best left to a specialist. A German firm supplied a piece of equipment with full instructions in German and only partial instructions in English. OK that was a mistake on Nakatanenga's part. However how many UK 4x4 companies supply equipment to Germany with full instructions in German? Peter's first response was on a German bank holiday evening, on a day off work enjoying life with his family. Friday 2nd May was a 'bridge day' in Germany where many employees take an extra day off to make an extended weekend. Therefore their was no specialist at Nakatanenga available to answer questions until the Monday. Now I got my ear bent by Mark (vancluse) over the Euro to GBP rate I was using as his company gets a much better exchange rate from the banks then we can get. Tough different companies get different exchange rates. Companies set their prices according to their individual business cost. Now I am getting emails from Mark describing Peter as a
Have just received an email from Mark complaining that I did not bother to reply to him! I am sorry but you do not insult a good supplier and dare I say a good friend to me then expect the dignity of a reply! I will state quite clearly that I have confidence in both Peter and Nakatanenga and the quality of the goods that they supply and the back up service they supply. I apologise openly to Peter for the insults that both himself and his company has been the butt of by one of 4x4Overlanders customers. I did not want to post on this thread as I could not give any input towards the wiring issues. However to publicly insult people on a forum is not acceptable! I will leave it to individual forum members to decide who is the arrogant arse! Now if any forum member would like to see the quality of the Nakatanenga range I would suggest they come and look at our vehicles at various shows and make their own minds up. 4x4overlander will continue to stock Nakatanenga gear and look forward to working with Peter in the future. Hello Brendan,
So glad you got that off your chest! I received an email from Peter yesterday: "Hi Mark, good to hear that everything is OK now. I am very sorry for the missing 2 pages! This happened in the rush of labour we are drowning a bit at the moment Usually the kits are fitted by specialists in a workshop so the extra hints Harry gave you are their daily business. Would you please be so kind and let the forum know that all issues are solved now? Mit freundlichen Grüßen Peter Hochsieder" I replied: "Hello Peter, I can indeed let the forum know that Harry very kindly answered my questions and provided all the necessary information so that I could successfully install the kit but I think I would first like to see a post from yourself acknowledging that you handled the situation poorly. The issue wasn’t so much about the untranslated pages or unclear wiring diagrams but more about how you replied to my email asking for assistance. Regards, Mark" Instead Peter decide to post an extract of an email that was sent to Brendan: "Message from the customer: "You’ll be pleased to know that I was able to fit the kit successfully yesterday." Yesterday = Monday Peter" I stand by what I said This thread has run its course and clearly Peter does not want to apologise for the manner in which he handled himself. I am surprised at your outburst though Brendan. I am sure everyone will come to their own conclusions. |

Are you suffering of a "kind a" Tourette Syndrome both orally and in writing? "arrogant arse" "shake wrist" = Sorry, but i am not interested in that kind of conversation. Peter WANTED: SII or SIII in max 1.5k |

Grow up the pair of you. Quipping, petty sniping and griping on an open forum is immature and drags the whole quality and ethos surrounding it and possibly your business spiralling downwards. Take it offline.
We get the picture! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
