Being an electrician I can categorically state the third one down on the left is definately 'a bit dodgy.' My advice would be to change it sharpish.
I would seriously consider ripping the fuseboard out and replacing with a Blue Sea. Time for a safe upgrade I think. ^^ Yes, it looks like it may take a 10KV extended period short before it will blow........... eventually. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

haha my thoughts as well.
Should I match them all as close to the lid specifics? I'm not running a Landrover motor though and wondered if this would alter the fact. |

When you state you're not running a Land Rover motor I am unsure exactly what you mean. Presumably the circuits/systems being supplied are the same?
Stick to ratings as close to the original and you won't go far wrong. Certainly better than what you've got at the moment which is seriously suspect and unsafe in my view. Best I don't share with you the other wiring issues on the truck!
Thanks for your advice. Having not been in this country very long, are mobile auto elecs very common? Need one out to change a lot of the dash wiring. |
