6x9 speakers in front?
Is it possible to fit them anywhere in the front?

I know they won't go in the standard location, but was wondering about seat boxes and the like? Have 6x9s in the rear which are brill but leaves the sound way too rear-driven, especially with the front speakers that only point at the floor! Rolling Eyes

What have people done? Have an amp so can use that too. Cheers, David

Door cards maybe, clearance might be an issue to the rear though..
Other than that the front of the seatboxes but they will get kicked.
Worth bearing in mind with either location you'll likely get rusty grilles due to moisture an wet. (I have even in the rear)
You could go the marine route for speakers but they aren't much cop.
The cubby is possible but you won't get the angles any good, you'll either get pointed at the dash or at the side of the seat.
I'd say best bet is lower door cards but as I said check the depth carefully.

Thumbs Up

Hmm ok, may have to have a rethink,

Ps the 6x9s worked great without the amp, cheers Steve. A lot tidier and less staticky now. What does the halfords man know, eh? Cheers, David

Good to hear, you could try looking at slim fit 6x9's. They wouldn't be as deep.

Just get a good set of components for the front and amp them
