Number plate mount + aircon
Is there an old style number plate (front) holder (the ones that hold the plate just above the bumper) that works with aircon?

or would they all be fine? Cheers, David

I think you'd just have to drill a pair of holes (in the top of the bumper) a bit further forward to clear the aircon front panel.

Having said that, the angled plate mount has quite a wide "foot" on the bottom, with the screw holes more or less in the centre line of it, so there may be enough clearance as it is without having to drill anything.

You'll find its a little tight but should clear ok David. Ive just had a stainless one made to match the series style bracket which ill fit tomorrow and put a pic up if you like (although i dont have aircon on this one) Worst case though just drill another 2 holes further forward the same as im doing but backwards Thumbs Up Defender puma dormobile camper

I have my number plate fixed to the front grill, also have an abar now, no signs of overheating and air con works just fine, might be different if we lived in a hot country

Chris
Thanks, standard bumper, ring driving lights , Nakatenanga finishing rings. got a local firm to drill the holes with a Starret tank cutter I supplied. Do get a lot of positive comments since fitted, but I dont think it works so well with the Abar I now have fitted DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy
