I have one 50 amp fuse between the main battery and the solenoid but was wondering if I should have another on the side of the second battery somwhere?
Any ideas? |

As JMS stated if they are wired up independantly each one must have a fuse protecting the supply circuits - good electrical trade practice! If the batteries are parallelled off together to share the load only one main fuse is needed. Basically it depends on how they're wired and if they share the load or supply different circuits of their own! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Not that i have looked at dual batteries on the defender. But on the disco the every feed has a fuse.
The main + feed to the distribution has a midi fuse (cant remember the rating) and its then off a board out to the other fused feeds Mike |
