Stereo Upgrade - yet another!!
Hi All

Have finally got around to upgrading my head unit - will post proper pictures when its light!! - but the unit I've chosen is the following:

http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-...-23720.htm

Approached it with a certain amount of healthy cynicism - as its about £1000 less than the Pioneer with bluetooth upgrade and navigation upgrade - but figured it was worth a punt. Very Happy

Initially I opted for the Parrot Headunit - and took it straight back - it looked awful (in my opinion) got extremely hot and infrequently emitted a very odd crackling noise Rolling Eyes

This Zenec though has really impressed me - sound quality is good, navigation is excellent, add on choice is superb and DVD's look great (although of limited value as the driver!!). Yet to really explore the Bluetooth quality but it paired with my Blackberry Bold perfectly and links to my ipod Touch seemlessly - it can also play from an SD card and of course play standard CD's.

You can also add a reversing camera, games consol and powered amp if so inclined Wink

Anyway I found very little information on this unit when looking and just wanted to reassure anyone interested that its a cracking bit of kit - not as high end as Pioneer or Alpine but extremely good value and well thought out - although fitting it and its ten tons of cable was a two man job!!

TQ
