Being from BLR, I do question if it really is one of the few made for the film. An engine to TDi for!

I seem to remember that they had 12 or more for filming purposes.

Hello All,

I think I may be able to add something here, my 90 was originally prepared by BLR for a customer who then moved on to a 110 putting the SWB up for sale, by BLR. Whilst assessing it, we noticed a 'Skyfall Defender'
parked in the corner of the garage.

BLR I think, sourced and supplied 6 of the 11 Defenders used in the film, preparing them, some with auto gearboxes, making some of the driving scenes easier to achieve. They also attended on-set in Istanbul.

The Vehicle advertised looks to be the one my daughters sat in at BLR...but maybe not.

They were all progressively 'smashed' up to get continuity between scenes, so anyone with a mind to could
build themselves a used lookalike 'Skyfall Defender'!

I would guess a Defender with true 007 credentials is worth more un-repaired.
