Hi,
GB199 which has been through the careful hands of 'Mr 50th' a.k.a. Simon Durant is now for sale. It has a couple of minor details to sort out, but I would like to offer it to a like minded enthusiast before it goes on the open market when these are completed. Fully prepared and resprayed to Altantis Blue which is better than when it left the factory (the pictures do not do it justice), New 'correct' rear crossmember, tank guard, fully waxolyed (chassis is excellent), new Genuine tread plate all over, new Stainless steel exhaust from 'Double SS' (Cat's back) and lots, lots more. Only 4 owners and that's the original registration plate. It all works, even the original genuine LR Phillips Radio (even the display hasn't gone on it). I've left loads out of this post with regards to what has been replaced but that's because the list is so long . Most people who are reading this will know what 50th's are all about - they sell themselves. A true Classic Land Rover. £24995.00 PM me for more information if your interested. Donation to the forum if it sells on here. Cheers, Superspoons Last edited by superspoons on 1st Apr 2014 9:14pm. Edited 1 time in total |

This is by far the best 50th anniversary i have ever set my eyes on. Gavin's attention to detail on this vehicle is out of this world and must be my most favourite 90 to have set foot in my workshop (it just makes you smile )
Top job Gavin and good luck If i won the lottery and had the cash laying around you wouldn't have had it back when you dropped it off at the workshop CSK Automotive www.cskautomotive.co.uk Like us on Facebook - www.facebook.com/csklr Follow us on Instagram - @cskautomotive |

Absolutely love your defender 50th, it's awesome.
£24995 Is an awesome amount of bucks too. I bet the rebuild cost a fortune. I hope the sale goes well. Steve e |

Looks a very very tidy and well turned out Defender - love the idea of the V8 and auto transmission ............ but the price made my eyes water ......... I need to lie down and think about the reality.

If only I had £25k in the Landrover fund going spare..... |

Who ever has bought that, has got themselves probably one of the most desirable defenders out there. Lucky lad or lass. I test drove one of these many years ago when it was only two years old. it was swesome but decided not to buy it because of the fuel economy as it would have been my only car at the time. Big mistake - Huge. And I've always regretted that decision. They are SO nice to drive.
