martin, my old 300 tdi came standard with rain senors!!
here is how it works. 1. it rains outside 2. sensor in top right of door is activated 3. water pours onto my leg 4. i now know its raining and switch on wipers My 109 thread my youtube channel |

On my TD5 less water is coming through so it takes a while before the sensor in my leg is activated.
