There's not much on the way of food topics so ,,, what's your yummy pudding ?
Having just cut my neighbours grass and found a big amount of ripe red rhubarb , I have just stewed it with sugar and topped with a dollop of ice cream . Second favourite has to be the old school custard and toffee sponge pudding on the Hull - Zebbrugga ferry . |

Funnily enough I have just come back from the Farmshop with some rhubarb. I've put it in the oven with some orange zest, cristallised ginger and orange juice. Am thinking to top it with a gingerbread mix so it will be like a Yorkshire version of Eve's pudding.

Apple Crumble with Clotted Cream and though not strictly a pudding, more a sweet, Sherry Trifle.

Mind you, you can't go wrong with a big chunk of warm lemon drizzle cake and ice cream. Or steamed syrup sponge. Or Hazelnut meringue with raspberries and cream. Or chocolate roulade! Or jam roly poly and custard. I do like my puddings!

Chocolate of any description. If that's breaking the rules, then apple and blackberry (both home grown) crumble covered with Bavarian vanilla sauce Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |
