I'm a Chartered Surveyor working in London, living in Surrey and value residential within the M25 and Central London.
PM me if you want any assistance and i'll gladly help giving you advice on areas etc. Just a tip - when i moved out of London to Surrey i just looked at train times into Victoria where my office is. If you can avoid the underground please do so. Cheers. Andy Defender Td5 XS90 |

Thanks for all the advice so far guys - really helpful . Do have a bit of time to play with - the company is going to let me split my time between London and Cheltenham, at least initially.
Do kind of like the idea of the weekly commute - when I was a consultant a few years ago, worked like that for a couple of years to various places. Which was fine as long as the train/plane fares went on expense reports Not sure the budget will stretch to paying for it myself... 2013 Defender 110 XS DCPU 2016 Ford Mustang 5.0 V8 |

Not exactly - it's a tech startup, but the product is aimed at media agencies. They're hoping to get some shared office space in with one of them... 2013 Defender 110 XS DCPU 2016 Ford Mustang 5.0 V8 |

Sounds interesting - any particular towns I should be looking at? The schools thing isn't an issue - no kids 2013 Defender 110 XS DCPU 2016 Ford Mustang 5.0 V8 |

Is it really, really secret but you'll tell a complete stranger you just met on the internet?

I've never seen an entire building fuzzed out before! I like the way that the ground floor with masked windows is OK, but not the upper storeys! Plenty of photos of the place online though. Why was it fuzzed? Advertising banners perhaps? |

Thanks for the help and suggestions guys - had a decent look around over the past couple of days and ended up finding a place (and a new flatmate!) in Shepherd's Bush (with underground parking ) Handy for escaping west, but also easy for the Central Line into work (which is looking like it's going to be Great Titchfield Street) 2013 Defender 110 XS DCPU
