I went for the AT's as it is very rarely off the road. I had the standard fit Contis before and I have noticed the bfg AT's are a little bit noisier but not by much... The back door is also a bit heavier now but can cope with that!
I was certainly very pleased with the look of the new tyres, just makes it look a bit more 'planted'...! That pic was taken after I had been on our local LR experience centres Trec Day and although it wasn't that muddy the tyres did a great job...! |

Thats what i'm thinking BFG ATs. Love to see any more pics from the front.
Notice any fuel consumption change or steering lock issues? I had the BFGs on my old series III, they did about 30k miles and still had loads left on them. Superb on and off road too. |

Do you have a photo from the front square on?
I was interested to see if SVX wheels with 265 tyres fill the arches. I think the current 235 tyres look too skinny. Do i just get 265 BFG A/T? Or do i need to change the wheels as well as they have positive offset. I want the "filled arches" look but without spacers, i seem to get horrible wheel wobble with them. Wonder what the offset is on these... http://www.4x4tyres.co.uk/defender/18inch-...-2999.html |

I never got around to changing the steering stops when I had 235s on Boosts - thankfully nothing rubs with 265s on copy SVXs...
