Poland 2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 SW Keswick Green
Another vote for no-carpet.
I have replaced carpets with rubber mats few weeks ago:
- no difference in noise levels
- humid decay/stench has gone
- much easier to clean Janusz

Carpets in Land Rovers are a recipe for a stinky damp mouldy mess. Rubber for me Thumbs Up

Must empty out all that Yorkshire, Northumbrian, Scottish, Cumbrian and Westmoreland mud that got walked across my rubber matting over the past few weeks. Thank goodness I didn't select the carpet option.

Anyone looking for a heap of soil for growing spuds? On the other hand as some of it is from Cumbria (downwind of Sellafield/Windscale) it's probably highly radioactive and sterile.

United Kingdom 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey
May be I am just lucky Sad On an 09 xs with fitted carpet as standard and later purchased LR rubber full set I seem to have the best of both worlds. Mud and etc just pull the Rubber out. I also checked under the carpets a few weeks ago. Must have one in a million as no sign of rust.

Well it's too late to change now! Brand new 110 arrives tomorrow in Aintree Green without carpets!

Would carpet from 2010 90 fit a 2013 one? I presume there's no change internally due to 2.2 over 2.4? Current

It must fit. LR only changed the engine at that stage as far as I've ever read
