Hiding wires in headlining
Need to install some wiring in headlining for a dash cam to be located behind the interior rear view mirror

Tried to search for this but only came up with
http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic25175....ing+mirror

Which doesn't mention how hard it is to loosed the headlining, add a cable and put it back nicely taut

Anyone done this and any top tips?

Yes, it isn't difficult. Did it some weeks ago to extend the wires from the interior light to fit a map reading light.
Just remove the rear view mirror and its bracket, and the sunvisors. Then you can pull the headlining a bit down to hide the cable. Cheers, Vincent
