Need to install some wiring in headlining for a dash cam to be located behind the interior rear view mirror
Tried to search for this but only came up with http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic25175....ing+mirror Which doesn't mention how hard it is to loosed the headlining, add a cable and put it back nicely taut Anyone done this and any top tips? |

Yes, it isn't difficult. Did it some weeks ago to extend the wires from the interior light to fit a map reading light.
Just remove the rear view mirror and its bracket, and the sunvisors. Then you can pull the headlining a bit down to hide the cable.
