Now I know there are alot of posts abvout shocks in here, and I have read alot of them already but i just wanted everyones opinion as to what they think i should get personally.
I drive a 2002 110 CSW , and currently my wife doesn't like the ride as she finds it too hard and bumpy, used to the Disco 3 for the ride! I use the car everyday for work and go down some bumpy lanes, so softening it would be nice. I dont want to lower it as i do go off road and green laning trips to Wales. Now i believe that there are 3 main competitors out there: Terrafirma, Bilstein and Koni. I have about £350 to spend and would like some shocks that can do the best of all worlds - off road, on road, soft ride, long travel and generally hard wearing. Sorry for the long winded message but i thought it best to ask all the right questions. I look forward to your answers. |

Any of those will be an improvement on the standard set-up. Personally, I'm a fan of Koni, but there are others here that are equally happy with Bilstein in particular. Darren
