£525 lighter.
60k service, needed rear brakes but the calipers were seized, so new calipers. Rear prop had a loose UJ, and needed a joint on the drag link. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV 1966 S2a 109 aka Betsy |

Yep, appreciate all that Ken, and I would do it myself, but no time at the moment. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

TBH, its 12 years old, and got 62k on the clock. So, its time related service rather than miles.
Dave, same as the D3/4 does! Rusted pistons that leaked when forced back in to fit new pads. It didn't need discs thankfully. Not sure I could have stretched to those! 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV 1966 S2a 109 aka Betsy |

Same here - 29k on my 55 plate, I'm about to book in for a service as it's just over a year since it was done 'properly' ie paying for it, I know there's nothing to do other than a good check over, oil/filters etc but I like to have it done around yearly to get the book stamped up! I've been quoted about £150 ish but I bet it ends up being more. |

Got mine going in on Thursday for its 72000 mile service. I'd usually do a lot of the basic service stuff myself, I did on my last TD5 but due to time and the fact I'm driving it to France soon I (and SWMBO) wanted a clean slate so to speak as we only bought it last year.
Thats if we can still afford France afterwards... Michael was just telling me a story about a friend of his who slept with a land rover, lonely nights in the desert.. |

Got mine back, only one 'Red' item, front offside wheel bearing. Lots of 'Amber' items like a seat belt not retracting, fog lamp has water in it etc etc. So, my to do list just got bigger...
