I purchased a GoPro alike from Amazon

On my YouTube the quality looks really good in the pit lane but then the picture deteriorates as soon as you go out on the track and then looks really poor.. Don't know if that's just me....???

I think its because it went into direct sunlight. Maybe I need to adjust the white balance controls a bit 1999 Defender TD5 110

its not the white balance! its poor metering. it doesnt seem to cope well with the bright direct sun and it is also slow to meter! notice how the exposure seems to jerk lighter and darker as it adjusts itself. saying that its nice and cheap, i would like to see more footage, might even get myself one! There is another video on my YT channel, I think its viewable. I need some more playing time and testing different formats. For the price I paid I can't really complain.
Its not without its annoyances. Such as I cant charge it and use at the same time and if I enable the WiFi, and turn it off, the WiFi does not come back on when re-powered - Maybe fixable with a firmware update (yet to look) 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |
