Yes, they'll fit. They are exactly the same as current models. Darren

worth double checking, there were some alloys that looked like boosts but had a moulding/indentation on each of the "spokes", I can't remember their name but again they will fit.

You thinking of the Deep Dish, Steve? Very similar to the Boost and still a direct fit. Darren

Hey Guys wow that was a quick reply from you all !! dont any of you sleep? LOL, Many thanks for your quick response, I was hesitant in buying them as I just could not be sure they would fit and as they are located in Scotland and as I live in South Wales it was a bit far to go to try a wheel on or do some measuring to confirm they would fit !
If you all can be 100% that they will fit I will move forward and offer the guy some of my hard earned money as I am sure my lovely girl will look better with some flash alloys on instead of the grubby plain steel rims. Regards Ole Dave |

Deep Dish and Boost are two different, but very similar, wheel designs. Deep Dish are earlier ones. As said above though, yes they'll fit.
Land Rover wheel design (along with most of the rest of the vehicle) hasn't changed in decades and are completely interchangeable. The only proviso to that is early 90/110's with rear drum brakes where alloys don't easily fit, but that's not a problem for you. I can also confirm they fit. I've gone the other way: I had Deep Dish alloys on my Tdi, and I changed to Puma Boost alloys An engine to TDi for!

Hi Guys and Gum97, thank you all so much for the replies, Gum97 may I ask why you went for the boost rather than the deep dish originals you had fitted?

Deep dish and boosts look very similar. I would imagine it was down to personal choice or condition. Both can be had for between £75 - £90 new so don't pay over the odds. When I had my Discovery the spare was a steel which was quite tatty. I got an unused deep dish with an unused tyre from a local breakers for £45 so shop around.

I changed because the original Deep Dishes were 13 odd years old, so had corroded and looked tatty, so I decided to change and I decided to go for the newer look and got a good deal on them also An engine to TDi for!

Hi K9F and thanks for the pics of both, very very helpful, and yes they do seem similar when you compare the rims, well the wheels look in good condition from the pics he sent me with only one of four having a minor scratch, they all have tires which look in good condition, he will let me have the four rims and tires for £190, the transport I would have to organise myself, does that sound a good deal K9F ?

Seems reasonable with the boots on. Do you know what tyres are fitted out iof interest and depth of tread? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Hi K9F, well looking at the pics sent all look ok but none are well known makes such as Avon or Goodyear, its not easy to see tread depth on a picture but the guy says all good tires and treads? you can never be sure until you see them can you? I am hanging on as I am still not convinced 100% that this is the way to go? maybe I should hang on for another day to ponder on it as I have seen new Boost alloys only, a set of 5 starting around 200 sobs! there again the boots would be on top !!!
Very difficult decision for old Dave Regards OleDave |
