Scotland 2001 Defender 90 Td5 CSW Cobar Blue
[For Sale] Brian James car trailer
Thinking about selling my enormous Brian James car trailer to free up some space, since there's no where to put it at my new house Sad

It's a older model but still in fantastic condition and cost me a fortune not that long ago as it's hard to get them this big second hand.

I'll get full specs later but the basics are:

- Fully galvanised chassis
- Twin axle
- Independant suspension
- Cable-operated drum brakes all round
- Cable hand brake
- Heavy duty hitch
- 6.5ft wide bed
- Load bed lined with Marine Ply
- Long reach loading ramps
- Rear loading support legs
- 4 x recent heavy duty tyres
- 1 x unused spare
- Nearly new Bulldog hitch lock included

Bad points:

- The original jockey wheel was missing when I bought it so it currently has a caravan version bolted onto the side of the A frame that could really do with replacing
- The wheels are corroded and could do with a refurb
- The brakes are ok but could do with new brake lines if it was going to be towing heavy weight regularly
- The drivers side rear marker light fitting is corroded internally
- The Marine Ply has a few battle scars
- The factory fitted hitch lock doesn't work, so I'll include an extremely expensive Bulldog hitch clamp that I had to order specially to fit this trailer

I really don't want to sell it but needs must. It's been a fantastic trailer while I've had it and with a little bit of updating it will give many years of service yet!

Looking for offers around £2.5k for it

Currently located near Falkirk but I can deliver at a reasonable price

That looks to be a very handy trailer! Can you tell me what are the tare and gross weights, and the bed length?

I don't have them to hand but I'll get them for you next time I'm near where it's currently being stored.

It took me months to find a decent trailer this big, as far as I know it's the widest and longest trailer they do Shocked
