I was lucky enough to have a pair of LR's half leather Recaro's fitted to my DC, fab seats until you try a long journey.
The standard seats in my 90 pre DC (Long story) were well better on the old bum.. Thumbs Up

Swapped last year to premium in the new defender from regular XS seats.
I would say not worth the money, very similar comfortwise. I'd spend the cash getting a full leather retrim.
Premium sound is well worth while though.

Had them fitted to mine - I like them, find them more comfortable than the standard seats on long journeys. Whether they're worth the premium, as opposed to selling the standard ones and buying aftermarket seats, that's not so clear... 2013 Defender 110 XS DCPU

Like Yeoman said. I think there are more comfier seats out there. But when/if the time comes to sell, I think it will make the Defender look less molested if there are genuine seats in it rather than aftermarket. To me that makes sense, to others it won't.
I wouldn't change the premium seat back to normal 1/2 leather. If I ever purchased another new Defender it would have the same premium seats fitted 110 D250 SE HT
