No speedo and fuel reads full.
I have just changed my ignition and fitted a x-eng guard over the key end.
Decided it would be best to disconnect the battery earth.

Just put it all back together before turning the locking bolt shear heads to see if everything is ok, and have now got no speedo reading or dial function (took it for a drive).
Also the fuel gauge is reading full and there is the low fuel light on the dash.

Initially I thought it must be ECU error code. But now not so sure.

Perhaps I have upset some in dash wiring as have checked speedo fuse and that is fine.

Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it?

Thanks

Peter

Just fixed it. Having been in computer support for 20 years the disconnect a leave for 10 min is to reset short term memory modules.
Anyway simple but stupid.
Unlike the rest of electronics its possible to put speedo pink cables in wrong holes... Late td5 think they would have Sussed that one. Anyway was wrong connector in wrong whole.
Did a wire trace of the fuel gauge which goes via the speedo, swapped connectors over and all works again. Happy days. Now to shear off some bolts.
