What adapter or wiring do I need?
I've got an old unit that I know works, I want to use it in an old pick-up I've got, the pickup has no wiring plugs that I can find, I'll just wire it to the power and speakers in the old fashioned way, but what type of plug do I need to plug into the unit? If I can get the plug with wires that fits the unit then I can join them but can't find the correct plug or adapter, is there such a thing?

I'm not sure you'll be able to easily sort this, most adapters are vehicle to ISO. For that HU it looks like you'll want a female plug but most on the market will be male as you are wanting the reverse. HU to ISO and not vehicle to HU.
What year is it? Might be worth selling and getting an aftermarket unit which is ISO which you can simply hardwire in using male and female plugs. No Guts, No Glory.

Thank Steve. It's from a 2005 defender, your probably right, it might be simpler to just buy a cheap unit, I'm only after a radio really. Thanks

Only way you'd get away with it is chopping off the loom plug off of a write off from a scrapper but that wouldn't be easy and you'd have to identify the wiring. (Or possibly track down the plug part number by LR)
I'd recommend aftermarket and then plug it's ISO plugs into a hardwired ISO plug like: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw=ISO...p;_sacat=0 No Guts, No Glory.

Here you go: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bmw-Rover-Mg-Car...1106106388

That harness will give you the plug that fits the back of your LR head unit. You'll have to work out the wiring to connect it to the vehicle but I'm sure the details are available on the net somewhere. Darren

Nice one LRA - I looked but couldn't find that when I did, similar but not the same. Neutral
To add to that adaptor then you'd just need this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PC2-36-0-FEMALE-...2a22ff751a No Guts, No Glory.
