Mack, when the vehicle is cold get underneath it and give it a really good wipe clean high up on the box close to the diff lock linkage just so we can look for witness marks.
take it for a spin and let it stand. Fairly common leak is in the area close to that linkage, but sometimes a wrong diagnosis can be a real bitch to the wallet. ****CENSORED**** |

Don't leave it too long before sorting it OR checking the oil level. I had a leak spotted by the Dealer at my last warranty service. Because they were busy and understaffed due to sickness they delayed doing anything for 6 weeks. Told me to use it as normal each time they rang to postpone my workshop appointment. Eventually a Big Bang when travelling at 50mph, and side of transfer box gone. Vehicle still driveable but new transfer box fitted at no charge. So beware.

Thanks for your replies mate. I was away for a few days on a job, left the rig parked at home. No leaks underneath. Took it for a spin, was parked uohill for a few minutes while at the store and a few drops appeared. Im a bit short on time but I dont need the rig in the following days. As soon as I have some spare time I will clean it underneath and check it out. Ill keep you posted mates
