urgent winch problem
Hello,

I've just installed my new goodwinch :
Black to battery
Red to battery with battery switch in between.

If i put the battery switch on , the winch directly start to work, even with or without the remote control...
It is like the remote control does not work at all.
The only thing to stop the winch is to put the battery switch to off....


don't think thats the wright thing...

Any body any idea what the problem is ?

Sounds like your winch solenoid is shot.

Put the winch in free spool, connect remote, then connect power, assume winch will run, then try remote. Might free solenoid, if not give David a ring.
