leaking air sound from the engine bay
hello,

yesterday i heard a leaking air sound coming from the engine bay, its starts at 1,500 rpm when the turbo starts working and its decrease/increase with acceleration pedal, regardless of the engine RPM Ex. if it was 2,000 or 3,000.

i checked (visually) the turbo and the air pipes but i couldn't find any thing wrong.

any thoughts guys ?? before i take it to the dealer because they are not familiar enough with the defender.

Best Regards.

I presume you have a 2.2, if so check the boost pipe from the Intercooler to the Inlet manifold as they commonly rub on the Alternator pulley.
