I have pre 2007 wing top plate on mine. Do not fit this as it will chip you bonnet paint as the bonnet overlaps. I got mine free (a gift among others to try to get me to take an offer of empoyment) which is why i fitted it. I stuck some draft excluder to stop it taking the paint off. do yourself a favour and go for the 2007 stuff. My advise is to spend the extra money and order it through LR. Theres an interesting story why the 07 bonnet does not follow the silhouette of the pre 07 but I don't want to bore you with bad mufacturing story's.

*cough* well as rumor has it (can't get sued if I say that ). No lets jsut say maybe someone could not read drawings when making the tooling, and lets say nobody noticed until maybe they made so many that they had not time to make more tooling (to meet production dead lines) and the cost of throwing all the ones made in to a skip . Just a rumor of course

3mm CP will give you the most problems and of course this is what the OEM stuff is and is the better grade to fit than the thin stuff. Trouble is the bonnet on the Puma is wider at the front and rear by quite a bit. Now I know of some who have fitted the Td5 stuff no problems, but when I tried the clearances between the bonnet and the wing top meant it wasn't possible, so I got the stuff specific to the Puma.
Now we all know about panel tolerances in Defenders... so if you bonnet has gaps you could rive a series through you might get away with it. 110 2.4TDCi 110 300Tdi LROCV ::: AULRO.com |

Thanks guys.....think I'll stick to the specific Puma stuff then. What do we think about the sills/rear corners? Are these bits Puma specific aswell, or all the same? Mark

Thanks for the recommendations guys. Things is, I get frustrated with these websites....no prices, particularly (if the parts are listed at all)
The prices I've been quoted so for are £99 for the wing tops, £83 for sills, £24 for rear corners. All this is genuine, new, unused items, with all fittings, etc.....from what I can see, it's a big saving over main dealer prices. Mark 2011 110 XS DC Stornoway Grey |

Me too - Mammouth all the way. Same quality as the Genuine stuff but no where near the price. Do a kit for the Puma as well.
Looks so like the Land rover stuff just maybe they make the Chequer Plate for LR ........ N. |
