Indeed, ours is Horticultural glass. What you've suggested is what I was going to do but not got around to it yet.
I only need one pane which is a 2ft x 2ft of which we had spares years ago and every other size but the size I want. Chillin In The BackwoodsπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

If asked fore it be that name I would get some strange looks so I just ask for it as Green House Glass, they know what I mean then. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

I know what you mean, seems to be a dying art! I'm hopefully going to start a horticultural business this year on a small scale. Thumbs Up

Well if the council get hold of it they'll only make some money out of it... Evil or Very Mad
Broken glass is a pain though to know what to do with it other than recycle it. Chillin In The BackwoodsπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

I used to put up greenhouses some years ago and the chap I worked for could order individual panes right up to the correct glass pack for the greenhouse that was damaged. If I remember correctly, it is going back about 8 years but about a quarter of the jobs I did for him involved replacing broken panes.
Most garden centres either sell greenhouses or have a little business on their premises that do greenhouses and sheds that would be a place to start.

Well I got my pane in the end (bought two) only £6.30 each.
Used Roman Glass;
http://www.romanglass.co.uk
They have branches all over the UK.
Truly excellent, walked in asked, gave dimensions and told me the price. I said I'd have two, he walked to the back already had them there ready to hand, wrapped for me paid and walked out with them! Straight in and straight out, I was expecting to wait or have it cut. Shocked

Very pleased indeed, just got to fit now. Thumbs Up Chillin In The BackwoodsπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
