I am told that last week there were 5000 flooded homes in England, 60 of which were in Somerset. If true, this might explain the disposition of aid.

I do not know how accurate these figures are, they were reported on the ITV news.

So 60 houses flooded in Somerset, 5,000 houses flooded in southern England??

Nearly 2,000 houses were flooded in Carlisle!

Or the houses repeatedly flooded in Calderdale. Flooded residents were given £150 grant!

Floods in south of England will get whatever money is necessary! The north of England??

I have only seen the mess and upset people and farmers that have had to store animals at bridgewater market as been down there helping move animals in my spare time and evening and also ran a artic lorry down to the levels with sand bags, animal feed etc to help out. The main thing in some areas is the smell of dead animals and death in gen and that was as high up as the peat more, just wish i could have done moors really, but aleast i tried Thumbs Up
