Well after a busy week here at Sturgess, it was finished off very nicely with the arrival of our latest demonstrator. Our new Bowler 90 XS SW is here
We sent our Bowler specialist (and ex rally driver) Martin (highbridgeflyer) to collect the beast, and then realised we may not see him for the rest of the day!!! But he returned to the showroom with a grin a mile wide It would seem that he rather enjoyed the 200bhp and custom Bilstein Suspension on his trip back from Bowler HQ. The Bowler has now been valeted and is in pride of place in the showroom for this weekend. If you are around Leicester then feel free to pop in and see it. We will post a full test report in the coming weeks, assuming we can prise the keys away from Martin. If I had the cash I'd be there. What a great piece of kit.

Somewhere in an old post there's a certain tuner doing some work on the prototype.

The above picture looks a junior school technology project - designed and fabricated by a 12 year old in a farm shed. What a crude looking piece of tat - looks as though someone having a laugh? |

There were certainly no claims of 200bhp on Pete's posts. www.td5.org |

If I remember correctly the gear stick was designed for strength for the offroad series . As the lr unit was not made for rallying . Not pretty though

I want one of those... Defender 90 TD5 County - You need only two tools in life: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesnt move and it should: WD-40. If it moves and shouldnt: duct tape it. |
