Outside Temperature in Blind Switch
Hi everybody. For a long time i want to have a temperature display in my Defender, but i donīt want to cut a hole in the dashboard.
Does anyone have an idea if its possible to fit a display in the blind switch in the Puma cockpit?
Maybe an electronic specialist here who could fabricate one?
I think there would be a few who are also interested.
Cheers
Tom

Never seen one, but another possibility may be a rear view mirror with temp. display, or a RDS sensor for display to the headunit. Cheers, Vincent

Hi Vincent, the RDS unit is sold by CroyTec, but if you change your radio frequency the temp is gone. Mirror with built in temperature display may be quite difficult to realize. The blind switch is already there and not used. Behind it there is enough room for the electronic and it is always visible. There is only the problem to find an LCD display which is small enough to be fittet inside the switch.
