Parcel shelf - Phase 1
After months spent trying to source a decent way to have a parcel shelf I have decided to go for DIY.

This is just Phase 1, I have just ordered some nice carpet to make it OEM Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
I have used the existing back seats screw holes.

What do you think ?

Thank you guys, happy to send to LR for a mass production Rolling with laughter

the very big thing is the noise reduction, I'd say at least -20% (Back seats-wise)

Look great think I would have hidden the hinge so they do not stick up..
Just a thought.

This looks great! was thinking of something similar in my 90 for my euro trip in the summer.

Any chance of some photos of how you attached the rails to the existing back seat screw holes. William

fit some guards on side/ back windows , otherwise you'll find them been smashed from inside. Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull..

Now if you took it out and put it back in upside down to what the pictures show then the hinges wouldn't show and to open push the edge closest to the door towards the seats whilst lifting the centre hinge part upwards and it would concertina open.

Hi Wiliam , take a look if these are more explanatory .

I have used the factory holes for the back single seaters (MY 2006)

looks really good Thumbs Up , and I'm sure it can take much more weight than the flimsy pull out fabric ones that many cars have nowadays... Cheers, David
