Driving Houndkirk Road (Peak District) in the dark was fun yesterday morning!
No pictures of the truck, but the reason I was up there was to get some sunrise pictures, so got to Houndkirk just before dawn. It still remains one of my favorite Greenlanes, possibly because it (sort of) reminds me of Kruger National Park with it's rock and light earth/sand. Hope you don't mind me sharing the photos Click image to enlarge Ox Stones at Sunrise by Craig Rogers, on Flickr Click image to enlarge Ox Stones at Sunrise by Craig Rogers, on Flickr Click image to enlarge Ox Stones at Sunrise by Craig Rogers, on Flickr It was so cold up there, even my camera bags frosted over! CLS 350 CDI for the sensible stuff |

Thanks both.
I got on from the North side from the Ringlow Road entrance, so the driving in the dark was only quite short before parking up, then afterwards drove the length through to the West on the way to Hathersage. I didn't do any other lanes on the way back. It was like trying to drive through the London Marathon. That time of morning (just after sunrise) on a Saturday was full of runners. Kit wise, the 2 wide photos are on a Nikon D7100 with a Nikon 10-24mm lens. The silhouette is with a D7000 and a Nikon AF-S 80-400mm Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |
