Actually, not WW2 but built under license using the same tools.
I have for sale my 1962 Hotchkiss / Willys Jeep. Virtually identical to the original WWII Willys, same engine, running gear, bodywork etc etc but features (partial - see below) 24v electrics and electric wipers, other than that virtually impossible to tell the difference. Tax exempt of course, brakes & gearbox fully overhauled by world famous experts Jeffreys Engineering who also supplied and installed a genuine Carter carb. The ignition system has been converted to 12v (again by Jeffreys) so cheap sparkplugs and 5 brand new correct type bargrip tyres. Virtually new 'Worthing' canvas tilt and windscreen cover included. This is a really well sorted Jeep in excellent condition, perhaps its only let down is the paintwork which is faded but of course hand applied so not difficult to redo, it depends on the look you are after - out of the factory or battle patina With the 70th Anniversary of the D Day landings being celebrated this year these vehicles are highly sought after and offer an investment for the future - check out prices at www.milweb.co.uk £10,000.00 for a quick hassle free sale Any inspection invited - Headcorn, Kent (Private sale not FCX) More pictures here: http://www.farrowsclassics.co.uk/Hotchkiss-Jeep-For-Sale.html Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |
