BAS remap, highly recomended!
I just had my 2013 Defender 90 remapd. I've sent it to BAS in the UK from Kuwait and got it around 5 days. It's a.night and day difference and the car feels like it's lost some weights.

The car pickups faster and has amazing torque curve down low, 2.2k rpm full torque.

It easily passes 120kmh compared to before and also reach highway speeds in no effort. Do your lands a favour and send your ecu to BAS. 2016 Defender 90 Adventure Edition

Nice!

With the hot climate in Kuwait, your Puma will benefit greatly from an uprated intercooler and also removing the cat.

Its winter now, so the weather is in the 10 C range. I will install an intercooler when the weather starts to get hotter.

Is there a DIY for it ? 2016 Defender 90 Adventure Edition

This sounds very tempting.

What is the effect on the LR warranty and your insurance premium please?

Sorry if I'm being daft, but I don't think I understand.

I was interested in how the Land Rover's warranty and your insurance premium is affected by altering the state of tune in a nearly new vehicle. I assume it voids the warranty and makes the insurance more expensive?

with warranties:

yes, it will technically void the warranty - if you tell them or it is obvious... it begs the question 'will anyone notice?'
it seems to be suggested that most won't notice, unless they're doing deep ECU work...

many remappers offer a unit which allows you to switch your ECU between standard and tuned maps before you take it into a dealers if you're worried. (alive, BAS, etc etc and many other site sponsors) Cheers, David
