im surprised the utility panels are not more readily available from suppliers. i would have thought it would be a popular conversion for older 110s! My 109 thread

Looked into genuine and then decided would be cheaper to buy a TD5 utility than to buy panels and convert! Problem is it starts a slippery and expensive slope, want side panels, but they need painting, may as well do whole body otherwise new paint and faded paint will look weird, if I'm going to that much effort I may as well get new doors, so may as well upgrade to TDCI doors, and if I'm doing that I need new trim so may as well do electric windows, and if I'm doing that should probably upgrade to td5 dash. Oh bother I have spent £6k |

Sprayed grill and surrounds today. All I did was wash and degrease them. Then 3 Coates of upol satin black

rub down bumper and paint it is net on the agenda. eventually will put crystal wipac headlghts and rdx led indicators and sides but will prob stick to orange My 109 thread

Amazing how it lifts the paintwork!
Might give mine a go As for the lenses, keep them orange. They look a bit odd pre TD5 |

That looks great I did mine in santorrini black last year so they have a little sparkle in the sun and will match my roof when I get it painted
