I think I would be looking at roof to windscreen seal, Alpine light seals or maybe a sunroof? 1999 Defender TD5 110

Possibly the roof to windscreen frame seal. An engine to TDi for!

Could it be condensation build up?
Mine used to suffer badly until I removed the headliner and lined all the roof. Now only the sunroof suffers, but I plan to make a screen for that to reduce/eliminate it. Stu |

You could have a look at this link..........http://www.scribd.com/doc/17833628/water-ingress-manual Or get step ladder and have a look at the roof joints, mine weren't in a bad state but I went over them with a marine sealant and that stopped the leaks. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to ![]() Richard |

Roof to windscreen joint by the gutter. I've just fixed my water leak by sealing there today
