Hi gents,
I have been looking at this instalation for an interior light AMR3155 for a defender soft top 90 TD5 on this portuguese forum http://forum.landmania.pt/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=10126 I have the same soft top and i would like to do the same in my soft top, i have exactly the same plug coming out from the dash board all the way up to the sun shield. 
In the forum they referred to 3 wires to be used (3 wires on the left of photo)
Black = -ve Violet / brown= +ve White /vilot= Alarm from ECU??? this is what it was referred as i have a doubt here the test wire is hooked up clearly to the violet /brown wire but the negative looks like it is hooked the the white/violet wire (Alarm ECU) is that possible? Did somebody with soft top use these wire for interior lighting as per this connections?
i would appreciate YOUR OPINION TO KNOW IF I USE THE BLACK WIRE -ve AND VIOLET/BROWN WIRE +ve are they the correct wires for this simple assembly? OR IF I USE THE White/violet wire as -ve AND VIOLET/BROWN WIRE +ve are tey the correct wires for this simple assembly? thanx for helping Che Happy Travel www.thegippo.wordpress.com |
