I know third row seats have been discussed before but I tried taking mine out today. The Torx fittings easy enough but the final bolt appears to be spot welded!!!! Can anyone assist?

Out of curiosity... as I'll be doing this soon myself... what do you plug that hole with, the one that leads to the wheel arch?

Nothing yet - it's a bit cold and draughty back there!

I just put some stainless bolts with locking nuts, stops the drafts and crap getting in. I have scratched the internal paint work with the ratchet spanner though
I'm thinking of putting a marine ply shelf in as a cheap option rather than slidy storage box. Then put plastic boxes underneath and the dogs can sit on top. I have a severe lack of patience and more importantly skills to bring this one into life. |

Thanks... I've got to get the third row out for an upcoming trip, and I've been putting it off because I wasn't sure about the holes. Thanks!

Mine come out within 15 mins top,, real easy, and cover the holes with tank tape,, Out of interest,, did you have all the bolts holding the seats in,, on mt previous 110, had 3/4 bolts missing !! never fitted by the factory California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1 Main Brian James Trailer Dealer for South West UK |

Hi,
I have a 110 XS Utility and looking to buy a 3rd row of seats to make it a 7 seater. Would anybody be interested in selling? I keep looking on ebay but am struggling at the moment. Cheers James |

Here's what I did with some MDF, batten and speaker covering.

The rear seats came out of mine yesterday, and the original bolts were used to plug the holes left behind.
The seats themselves are surprisingly heavy, I wasn't expecting them to weigh so much! There is a lot more room however. |

Caribcat - that looks great.
You've got to love the flexibility of these things! One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |
