Is there room for some sort of small plate or washer on the other side to spread the load? I think i may give them a go. Killer did you fit both the front and back sets? Im not sure if the back set are needed as much

Just bought a pair for front and a pair for rear, quality looks pretty good but not outstanding, but more than enough for the job.

I was hoping they'd come as a glossy black finish like the photo, but it's more greyish so they'll need painting to match my santorini black 110

They look like they'll do the job well though, and I'm contemplating only riveting into the sill rather than the plastic wheel arch Cheers, David

yeah not a big problem, just wouldve been nice if they were a nice looking black from standard but still look ok

regarding rear ones, i was just going to get front ones, but then i went out the other day on a bit of a dirty road and came back to find my fuel filler cap & recess filled with horrible slime - these must help!

and also i think black cars look rubbish when all gritty & muddy and the main source of a lot of the spray seems to be the front wheels so again these must help! Cheers, David

I fitted front and rear - colour coded - pictures on thread. Esy to fit, used screws into plastic arch and tape onto ali body.

Worth fitting if you have wider wheels or spacers.

I may as well just get the front and backs done together. David I agree black cars just don't look too good with spray up the sides thats why I think ill get them cant let it get dirty Rolling with laughter .

Dj I like your painted wheel studs, think I will be doing that myself.

Thanks for the advice guys its nice to know they will work before I buy them.

I have just fitted a set of front DDs to my 110 and I am very impressed with the difference! Thumbs Up

I run 285s on a zero offset and usually the front doors are covered in crud, and you need to keep the front windows shut when driving off-tarmac. No longer! The DDs have made far more of a difference than I thought possible!

Excellent simple product, and easy to fit too.

I had a set on mine but took them off in place of the Gwyn lewis 4x4 front mud flap kit. There a much better solution in my opinion. the positives are they look standard not like a stuck on bit of plastic which is easily knocked off and aren't really that much more money, they also come with a spray plate to protect the chassis from muck.
I'd fit them to any defender I have from now as are so well made and work much better (I get no spray up the side with 285's on boost's, where the dirt defenders still let some up the sides.
only disadvantage is you have to do one small cut on the arch, but doesn't show when there not on and didn't bother me.
Just thought id point it out as previously didn't realise there was a better solution and so bought the ones your talking about before removing them (1 unintentionally! )

There's pictures of RomaDog's lovely black 110 on here with the same as mine fitted which shows what a factory fit they look Smile Defender puma dormobile camper

I agree Gwyn lewis mud flap kit works a treat and you keep the original look.
