| [Wanted] 110 roof rack to suit double cab | |
Ideally I'm looking for a full length 110 roof rack to fit to a double cab with a Truckman top. Been looking all over the place but no joy in finding one at the right price.
A Patriot would nice but I'm not sure I can run to the cost one of those  So I guess the only other option is a LR Expedition rack. A Brownchurch type wont be any good for my needs.
The problem I have is I need to keep the overall height of the truck down in order to fit in the multi-storey car park at work. A low profile rack will just squeeze in. Therefore, anything with a luggage rail won't fit although I'm happy to get the grinder out to remove it. The distance between the roof and underside of the rack also needs to be as small as practicable.
I don't mind if the rack is a bit scruffy as I would refurb it anyway. As long as it's straight and unabused and comes with the necessary gutter fittings that will be fine. I can probably get some rear supports knocked up at my local engineering company.
If anyone has a rack available or knows of one going or a fairly cost effective solution I'd be pleased to hear from you
